Schliersee is an internationally known holiday and winter sport area in the Bavarian Alps. The town itself is situated 784 Meter above sea level and the highest mountain is 1885 Meter high. This resort has about 6500 inhabitants and belongs to Landkreis Miesbach.

Schliersee lies between Munich, Salzburg, Chiemsee und Garmisch-Partenkirchen, and offers something for everyone during all times of the year.
